A Los Angeles transplant, born in Kentucky, Chas specializes in true stories and film adaptations. His memoir was optioned for the development of the doc-feature hybrid American Animals, starring Evan Peters, that debuted at Sundance 2018, and then celebrated a worldwide theatrical and festival release before becoming available on Cinemax, HBO, Hulu and Amazon Prime.
Currently, he develops IP across multiple platforms as a co-author, ghostwriter, screenwriter and script doctor. Chas specializes in helping others share their stories, bridging the gap between story subjects' lived experiences and the screen.
